Kids
GRADES 1-5
Summary: This week in kidmax, kids talked about why we don’t need to worry.
Series: LUKE | The Basics
Big Idea: We don’t need to worry. God’s got it.
God Story: Do not worry | Luke 12:22-32
Key Verse: “Father, may your name be honoured. May your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, as we also forgive everyone who sins against us. Keep us from falling into sin when we are tempted.” Luke 11:2-4
- PRACTICE. We all worry, and oftentimes, the more we worry, the more we fear, and it is a weird and horrible cycle of worry. As a family, practice breaking the cycle of worry by saying you are worried, praying together, and then letting go of the worry. Make it a habit and a pattern together.
- WATCH the video teaching below with your family this week.
- TALK about the video as a family. What stood out to you? What did you like? What did you want to ask a question about? (Tip: If it’s helpful, consider pausing the video as you watch it together, and ask questions or talk about things that stick out to you as you go!)
- Check out the midweek activity page! It’s a little different than most weeks. It is a mini-board game! Use it for your family-friendly home church or play it together as a family.
